Finding The Right Frequency

Gateway Southlake
The first time one of my stories written for television, actually appeared on television, was a huge shock to me. The director didn’t call , or send a check in the mail, or respond via email ( honestly, I wasn’t sure I had the correct email address ). But weeks later, while watching a show, I hear my STORY.  A story about Easter bunnies was on TV, in October.  Now, it was the wrong season for bunnies, but God will put something on TV that is right on time.

Our BOS Word for the day is: Frequency –

  1. the rate at which something occurs or is repeated over a particular period of time or in a given sample.
  2. the rate at which a vibration occurs that constitutes a wave, either in a material (as in sound waves), or in an electromagnetic field (as in radio waves and light), usually measured per second.

In order to hear from God, or anyone for that matter, you must be tuned into the right frequency. You’ve been praying for an answer, and God has sent it. Perhaps it hasn’t showed up in the way you imagined, or perhaps you missed it, but God is faithful. He’s spoken to me through the newspaper, my child, a friend, the bible, and directly.  But if He answers in a way you are not expecting, or says nothing at all and you decide to stop listening or looking for His voice, you will MISS your miracle. So don’t feel bad because you aren’t sure what’s going on because when God is working on your behalf, He allows you to skip steps and fast forward you to the front of the line. For example, my story for tv should have gone through a copy editor, producer, and many sound bites, instead, it went straight to miracle stage. So don’t give up. Don’t change course thinking, maybe this career, dream, promotion isn’t for me. No one has called, no one is responding via email, maybe I should try again next year. No, no, no, like I said earlier, God could have already sent you an answer, and you missed it, so just ask him to call you back, and open those ears and ask for a status update.
