The title of this page has been left blank, so fill it in. There’s a date, and a dose of encouragement from me, of course. You can dream big or you can dream small. You can be in the hall of fame, or homeless. For better or worst, your life is a direct result of what you believe and write about yourself. What are your dreams for the last 4 months of the year? Don’t dream small, write the life of your dreams. God has an unlimited budget just for you. God’s word says we are kings and queens, not the help. You don’t have to write a story of nothingness You can dream up.
One night, while walking the streets of San Francisco during Super Bowl weekend with my son, suddenly a large black tarp moved. I screamed, and then apologized, to the tarp that completely ignored me.. Now this wasn’t the newest street theater production of “Scar the black lady”, it was an actually person- in their hidden home. This occurred many blocks later, and then came the throw up laden streets. One side of the street was gorgeous and the other side was hidden with poverty. It reminded me of how bless we are. Anyone could end up homeless.It’s a series of choices. I often wonder what happened to that persons dream?
Our Bites of Style word of the day is declaration: the act of declaring something. : something that is stated or made known in an official or public way.
Words create things, so you have to speak your dream into existence. Speak it into existence. God’s word says I am the head not the tail. The word promises a good life on earth, not just in heaven. It says nothing about throw up streets and sleeping on the streets. In the bible Hannah, pleaded and prayed- She was persistent. She didn’t change her dream because of her circumstance.She was intentional with her prayers. She didn’t pray for any old life. Year after year, she prayed.
Little David saw a fearful army of MEN, but that didn’t change who David was. God’s word says, in Samuel 18 “Saul took David that day and did not let him return to his father’s house.3 Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. 4 Jonathan stripped himself of the outer robe that he was wearing and gave it to David, with his armor, including his sword, his bow, and his belt. 5 So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and he acted wisely and prospered;
Wow now that’s dreaming big! In one day, David went from sheep watcher , to lunch delivery boy to harp player- to solider. David never went back home again. And he got an outfit change too. Wow, we serve a GOD that will give you not just a new job , but a clothing allowance, a housing allowance and then the throne. So I refuse to settle for less for my family than the allowance God has allowed. And with God there are no limits. We normally dream little.
Yes, the year is half gone and God has done a lot, but I know there is much more in store. God’s bank account of miracles is still full. And the miracles are not just for you, they are for your family too. You can make a declaration of faith over your kids, friends and relatives. If you reach for something bigger- like David did, instead of staying in the background, God will give you those dreams. Not sure if this will work for you? Take a look at my story. In February, we went from Dallas to the Super Bowl, to a commercial in 4 days. How we do it? No agents or standing in line for call backs here. There was no bag filled with thousands of dollars, or saving for years to attend. Just a dream, a declaration of unwavering faith and prayer. And by the way, my family paid zero dollars for this dream. God’s supply is limitless, so put a demand on it!
Here’s a few of our photos from the Super Bowl 50 events in San Francisco we attended
