Nothing like receiving an unexpected email to brighten your day.”Sorry your application is denied.” I found myself in panic mode I understood what the word denied meant to me, but I didn’t accept it. So what do you do when you don’t accept the news you’ve been dealt? Do you press forward in faith, or become flummoxed in fear?
Our Bites of Style word of the day is flummoxed:(adj) bewildered or perplexed.(verb)
Many times,we don’t realize not stepping forward in faith, equates to staying stuck in fear. Even in the midst of fearful moments God says “Fear not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness/” Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, means fear not. Although storms are raining down, still fear not..
So instead of becoming flummoxed by the email, I took action. Although, my application was denied, I took every step possible to reverse the decision. And it worked. By afternoon, I had a bright and shinny acceptance letter.
God is faithful to the very end. But you will never see how faithful God really is until you learn to walk, work, and talk without fear.
No matter what occurs today take steps of faith. Don’t stay down when you’re destined to be up.
