What could you do with the power God has placed in your hands?

Our Bites of Style words of the day are “Just Do It”

In the wake of the Dallas police shooting, 12-year-old Lauren Roach and 11-year-old Landry Nelon , started a lemonade stand.

We felt really bad for all the victims’ families,” said Lauren. “At first we thought we would get about $100, but after we got to about $5,000, we realized we could really get this really high.”

Theses girls without a branding manager, or high school degree swiftly answered the call to action.

“We just really feel that every little penny counted,” Landry added.

And they  were right.

The girls dropped off a check for $10,000 from money they raised in  two days.

As 1 John 3:18 says, ” My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.”

What action could you take today to help others?

The small sacrifices you make really do count.
