Designer Giorgio Armani’s Summer Of Giving

In Texas it’s hot, really hot. So much so that Evan Sparks is encouraging friends, via Facebook, to keep an extra case of water in their cars just in case someone needs a refreshing drink.  Bravo, Evan!

But in the Chubut Province of Patagoni , a region stricken with scorching temps and poverty in Argentina, water is a scarce resource until now, cue Mr. Armani please.

Giorgio Armani and Green Cross International are expanding their charitable arms with new Acqua for Life projects in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, China, Bolivia, Mexico – and for the first time – Argentina. Because not having water is not an option.

Acqua for Life is a humanitarian campaign on a global scale that was created in 2011 by Giorgio Armani. Even at the ripe age of 80, Armani couldn’t ignore the sufferings of others. Not only has he lent his brand name to the cause, he’s also creating some stylish charitable products for us as well.

Take a look and at how you can give back with style this summer.
