Maximize the Moment For The Victims Of Moore Oklahoma

MaximizeTimeOur hearts ache for the victims of  Moore, Oklahoma yesterday.   The twister is one in a series of tornadoes that swept across the state leaving significant damage & loss of many lives.  I encourage everyone to do more in the weeks ahead to help this city rebuild. The smallest sacrifices you make can really count. These people really need our help.

Donations

People who wish to make a donation can support American Red Cross Disaster Relief, which helps provide food, shelter and emotional support to those affected by disasters like the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma and Texas as well as disasters big and small throughout the United States by visiting redcross.org, dialing 1-800-REDCROSS or texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

If you are not able to give a monetary donation please look into donating a gently used item of clothing & furniture. Before selling your items on Craigslist, Ebay, or a garage sale this summer, please con side the victims of Moore, Oklahoma.. Most of these people lost everything and could use some of the things we have ( more details to come on this soon)

It’s hard to think about the rest of the week when so much sadness  is happening all around us. How to be happy when so many people are sad?  What can you do instead?

Maximize The Moment 

  • Cherish what you have and your love ones  a little more
  • Make a bigger impact
  • Commit to that change you have been trying to make
  • Do it now before it’s too late.

The people who died yesterday had many hopes and dreams, yet their lives ended too soon. Known of us can say when our last day will be, but until that day comes.. make every moment count…
