Summer will be here before you know it, and we must all shed our winter skins. Bikini season is upon us and it’s time to get READY. I was told about the Skittles and Sudafed Diet, the Vegan Diet, the Coffee & Cookie Diet, and the 3 Hour Diet. Known seemed to fit into my busy schedule and one seemed a little crazy. Thus began my quest at Koko FitClub on Valentine’s Day. My goal to have toned arms, legs and abs began at the Southlake, TX location.
Koko promises you will feel, and look better and I have to agree so far. Although I am just starting my Koko plan I have noticed a few changes. I first thought Koko was “The New Curves”, but Koko is completely different. Koko might actually replace the traditional gym style personal trainers. The machine is smart, efficient, polite, and let’s you know if your pace is slowing. Don’t try texting during your workout or you will be sorry. Koko see’s everything.
The program is also very flexible. Are you short on time? Well just do strength one day and come back for cardio tomorrow. Have an untraditional work schedule like mine? Then the after hours key card will allow you to workout day or night.
Now there are really no excuses to not exercise.
My two cents: Koko is hard. I am in good shape, but the 15 minute cardio session were challenging the first day and many days afterwards. I have always been told you need more than 30 minutes of cardio, but Koko seems to get the job done in 15 minutes. The jury is still out, but I will keep everyone posted.
The weight training is also pretty challenging, but varies with each workout.
The results so far: After going for 3 weeks an average of 2 days a weeks I have lost 2 lbs and 2 inches. Koko recommends you go at least 3 times a week. The verdict is still out, but stay tune for my full review next month.
