Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC

I love Mercedes-Benz fashion week, even though in Dallas we are looking at spring collections and in NYC  everyone is looking at fall. Who cares already? It’s fashion and it sure is pretty!!!

Get ready to “Fall in Love” with plunging necklines, backless dresses, bracelet sleeves, fur boots, and shorts.. The great thing about seeing fall fashion in the winter are the great sales we get to experience now.  So many boots and coats are on  clearance at  your favorite stores.  With President’s Day this weekend, the sales will be even greater than before.

Perfect timing to see if those knee-high boots will be in style next season ( they will) fur vest are also popular for next season… I scored 3  pair of boots last weekend at 75% off retail at Malouf’s in Southlake. Sadly they have all been shipped to Lubbock, but retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Kohl’s and Nordstrom still have a  huge inventory of your favorite brands.

Michael Kors Fall 2012 RTW- The Prince of Fashion has done it again with his 1930’s inspired collection. His new MK store will be coming to Southlake Town Square in April or May ( next to the Apple store) although a friend has told me it will be mainly accessories, his new-ready to- wear collection is still worth looking at..

Speaking of the Apple Store- I just became  “A Mac Girl” last month and Brandon ( no last name) from the store transferred all my data from my old PC in 4 hours… Unbelievable!!!!  And totally worth every penny!!! A million thanks… BV
