Lions and tigers and bears oh my… The weather is crummy but tonight’s dinner doesn’t have to be dull. There is also still time to purchase tickets before tonight’s event. I heart food and charity events like “Burgers and Burgundy”. They always bring out the best celebrity chefs and spirits all for a good cause. Chef John Tesar along with a group of celebrity chefs will be entertaining at One Arts Plaza, Sunday, October 9th, 2011 for the third annual Burgers & Burgundy event benefitting The Dallas Chapter of DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS).
Chefs are challenged to serve up the best burger and compliment them with wines and specialty cocktails from Grey Goose Vodka. Funds raised from the event will go towards DIFFA/Dallas’s mission of serving those who are affected by AIDS and HIV across North Texas.
The culinary lineup includes John Tesar, Chef/Owner The Commissary; Tim Byres, Executive Chef/Owner SMOKE; Scott Romano, Executive Chef Charlie Palmer; Sharon Van Meter, President SVM Productions; Kevin Williamson, Chef Ranch 616; Teicchi Sakurai, Chef/Owner Tei An; Jordan Rogers, Chef Fedora; Matt McCallister, Campo, and more.
Burgers and Burgundy takes place Sunday, October 9th from 4-7pm. Tickets for Burgers & Burgundy are $75 per person and are available at www.diffadallas.org, by calling 214-748-8580, and at all participating restaurants.
