There is a ton of things to do this weekend…. First up Grapefest in Grapevine, Texas
Grapefest is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a ton of weekend celebrations. Live entertainment on six stages, culinary demonstrations by local celebrity chefs and authors, winery shuttles, champagne brunch, food vendors, LEGOLAND, and carnival rides.
Admission is free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tonight only. Grapefest runs till Sunday.
If you are looking for an authentic Oktoberfest outside of Munich Germany, then this one is a great one for the entire family. There is an indoor children’s pavilion, games, food, live entertainment, folk dancing, and of course beer.
Admission is $10 per person, but if you stop by your local Albertson’s you can purchase a ticket for $5. Another great deal is to stay at a local hotel. We found specials as low as $50 a night. Local hotels are offering packages which include 2 admission tickets, a $10 food voucher, and a collectors Oktoberfest mug.. Sounds like a great weekend plan to me.
With a $27 saving, you can’t help but stay the night….
